Standard Hints |
These should work on most of the newer fruit machines. |
1. If you get to hold two matching symbols on the win line for three goes in a row, it'll drop the win in. This also works with feature symbols.
2. Don't bother watching the pattern things flash in when something random is going on (stoppa, nudge gamble) - the machine will give you what it wants to. But always try holding down the cancel button - in most cases this will slow everything down.
3. On trail games, go for the bonus (usually located on number 4 of the trail). If you've got numbers on the line that would take your trail up to 4, hold all the reels to make sure it can't give you any extra (If you get a hi/lo gamble on the bonus, you're almost guaranteed to win the first spin - use this to your advantage).
4. When 'on the board', bear in mind that few machines will kick you on your first go. Also, if you've just landed a 'change numbers' bonus, you should be all right for one more gamble.
5. Most features approximately pay out what the same position cash win is. Say you were on the sixth feature up, and the cash line went £1, £2, £3, £4, £6, £8, then the feature will probably be worth about £8.
6. Don't assume that just because you've got the jackpot the machine will clam up and not pay out any more money for a while. Most machines run in streaks and can pay up to £100 in the space of a few games.
7. If it says 'Hold All Three' or 'Let 'em Spin' then, for gods sake, do it.
8. Think long and hard before you gamble high/low on any number above four or below nine.
9. If you can see the letters 'CL' lit up anywhere on the machine, leave it - it means 'Cash Low'.
10. If the machine doesn't want you to win, you won't.
11. Learn when to walk away.
